Russia-Ukraine: Russia is agree to proceed cease-fire talk with Ukraine. Not sure what is the requirement for the negotiation from Russia yet. But this is a positive signal that Russia -Ukraine war may finish soon. Currently, Russia is still attacking Kyiv and southern cities. Russia is using missles and drones to carry out attacks.
Energy crisis: Russia announced to cut 500k barrels crude oil production since March after consulting OPEC. This is about 0.5% global daily production. Global demands haven't change much since Jan.2023. Due to high oil pice, OPEC expect price may curb global energy demands.Natural gas price continue to be weak in US after 100% decrease in Dec 2022. As EU has a mild winter, demands for natural gas didn't spike as expected.Overall energy supply would still be tight in 2023.Jet-Fuel price jumped in Fed due to tavels rebound in China.
